Not all of our painters can come back within 30 days to pick up their pieces. For out of town guests we offer shipping! Shipping costs depend on the price of the pieces painted.

1. Grab a shipping ticket from the stack to the left of the register and have the customer fill out their name, address, phone number and email address as well as check the disclaimers at the bottom.
*Please note, to receive shipping notifications, the customer provide must BOTH their phone number AND email address.
2. Check the total price of their pieces to calculate the shipping charge. Staple the shipping ticket to the customer ticket.
Once the shipping items come out of the kiln, wrap them in tissue paper, then in bubble wrap, and into a box they go!
Take the scale and weigh the box. Record the box weight and dimensions on the box and on the shipping ticket.
Finally, place shipping ticket into black shipping ticket box and the box with the current batch of things to be shipped.
Shipping takes anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks depending on when a guest paints, our shipping schedule, and the delivery company's speed of service.
It's important to note that when guests ship pieces it still takes us 7 days to process their piece through the kiln, then it gets packaged and ready for our next shipping date. We ship twice a month (on payday, so you can easily tell a guest when our next shipping date is) so depending on when you paint and where you live, it might take a minute.
We do not offer refunds for pottery damaged in shipping (it's frankly, not our fault) as the USPS policy is for the recipient of the damaged package to file a claim directly through them.
We understand it can be frustrating when items break. We do our best to package pieces perfectly but ceramics are fragile and things happen. While we're unable to offer a refunds, we might be able to workshop some solutions with the guest such as:
*** Inform how to glue and set using e6000 (for out of town guests)
*** Offer a 20% off card to glaze something new (in town guests)
*** Something else - brainstorm with a Studio Director or Customer Experience Coordinator to make some magic!
